The hosts ended with xG of 2.28, while the guests had 0.88, so it is no wonder Igor Tudor's team remained empty-handed. 

After only two matches in charge, Tottenham's manager, Igor Tudor, is in danger of losing his job. The team looked terrible, especially in defense, and there are some reports that the board regretted signing Tudor. The game on Thursday against Crystal Palace may be his last one as the Tottenham manager. 

Tottenham have big problems with missing players. They will be without Wilson Odobert, James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, Rodrigo Bentancur, Mohammed Kudus, Ben Davies, Lucas Bergvall, Cristian Romero, and Destiny Udogue. Also, Djed Spence is questionable for Thursday. 

Crystal Palace are only two positions above Tottenham in the standings, but with ten points more than the drop zone, they should feel comfortable enough. Crystal Palace have been solid lately, with only two defeats in the last seven matches. In the previous game, they lost 2-1 on the road against Manchester United. The guests defended well for most of the game, but after Maxence Lacroix's red card in the second half, Crystal Palace fell apart, and the hosts secured all three points.

Crystal Palace lost for the weekend, but the manager, Oliver Glasner, was still satisfied. He said, "The players tried everything until the end. I think we were four or five times in very good positions, but the final pass wasn't accurate enough for the finish. But the performance was okay for many parts of the game."
