Torino vs Udinese prediction 07.01.2026 | Serie A

Torino return to Turin after a morale-boosting 3:0 win at Verona last weekend. Late goals from Cesare Casadei and Alieu Njie added gloss to a hard-fought victory for Marco Baroni's men. 

Having failed to win six successive Serie A games between the end of October and start of December, Torino have enjoyed an improved run of form in recent weeks. Il Torro picked up victories in three of their last four games, including a 1:0 win against Cremonese in their most recent home fixture.

Up to 11th in the division, the hosts now find themselves one point ahead of Udinese coming into this Serie A contest. 

A strong record in this fixture will give the hosts further confidence this week. Torino scored wins in four of their six most recent matches against Udinese.

Head coach Baroni has six potential absentees for Wednesday's Serie A contest. Zanos Savva, Perr Schuurs and Ivan Ilić are ruled out, while Marcus Pedersen and Niels Nkounkou are listed as doubtful, with Cyril Ngonge’s availability yet to be confirmed.

Udinese make the trip to Turin after a disappointing 1:0 defeat against Como on Saturday. Lucas Da Cunha's first-half penalty proved the difference-maker at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia.

Kosta Runjaic's side have not been at their best in recent weeks, with four defeats and just one win picked up in six previous fixtures. 

On the road, Udinese have been particularly poor in the past couple of months, losing four and winning one of their last five Serie A away fixtures. Le Zebrette suffered a disastrous 5:1 defeat at struggling Fiorentina before their reversal in Como last weekend.

Head coach Runjaic has a handful of injury concerns to deal with this week. Adam Buksa, Vakoun Bayo, Saba Goglichidze and Jordan Zemura are all ruled out, while Arthur Atta faces a late fitness test.
