Sudan face their final fixture in Group E after a surprise 1:0 win against Equatorial Guinea maintained their hopes of reaching the AFCON knockout phase for the first time in their history. 

After a 3:0 defeat against Algeria on matchday one, James Appiah's side now find themselves needing a win in this fixture to secure their ticket for the next phase. 

The Sudanese will come into this contest as underdogs though. The Falcons of Jediane lost seven and won only one of 13 previous international fixtures. 

Head coach Appiah is likely to retain confidence in the same XI that claimed victory against Equatorial Guinea. Mohamed Abuaagla is the only injury issue for the Sudanese.

Salaheldin Adil is available after completing his ban after a red card in the opening fixture against Algeria.

Burkina Faso face their final fixture in Group E after a hard-fought 1:0 defeat against Algeria on Sunday. Riyad Mahrez's first-half penalty proved the difference at Moulay Hassan Stadium.

The Stallions had enjoyed a fine run of results before Sunday's setback, picking up six victories from seven unbeaten fixtures, including a five-game winning sequence. 

Brama Traoré's men kicked-off their AFCON campaign with a 2:1 win against Equatorial Guinea and with a superior goal difference, only needing a point from Wednesday's fixture to secure their place in the round of sixteen. 

Head coach Traoré has a full fit squad to choose from this week. The Burkina Faso boss is unlikely to make alterations from the side that slipped to a narrow defeat against Algeria.
