Bohemian FC will be confident of maintaining their strong recent form when they take on an out-of-sorts St. Patricks´s Athletic at Richmond Park on Friday evening. 

A fine run of results has seen the visitors pick up ten victories while losing just three of their last 14 matches played over the past two months. Up to third in the division, Alan Reynold´s side claimed wins in three of their last five road fixtures. 

While still 11 points behind league leaders Shamrock Rovers, the Gypsies boast two games in hand on the Irish champions, and remain a genuine contender to at least fight for European qualification this season. 

Contrastingly, St. Patrick´s Athletic return to action this weekend now winless in five matches after a 0:0 draw against Cork City last Friday. A miserable run of form has seen the Saints fail to win all but one of their last eight matches.

While usually strong on their own patch, Stephen Kenny's side have now failed to win each of their last four matches at Richmond Park.

Bohemian FC have a decent recent record in this fixture, remaining unbeaten in four of their last five encounters against the Saints. Considering recent form, a similar outcome seems likely this Friday.

With that in mind, I'm backing Bohemian FC to leave Richmond Park with a positive result this Friday. An away win or draw is my best bet in Dublin.
