Out of a total of 66 encounters between the two sides, Sevilla has claimed 28 victories, Mallorca has won 15, and as many as 23 clashes have ended in draws, including both last season’s meetings which finished 0-0 and 1-1.
Sevilla team overview
Although they made a discouraging start to their 2025-26 LaLiga campaign with losses to Athletic Bilbao and Getafe in the opening two rounds, the Andalusian outfit responded impressively by winning four of their next six top-flight matches.
Just two weeks before the international break, Sevilla thrilled their fans by delivering an unforgettable evening, handing title-holders Barcelona an embarassing 4-1 drubbing and perfectly ending their three-game winless streak at home.
Thanks to their notable upswing in form, Los Nervionenses have climbed to sixth in the league and will now target a third straight victory to maintain their charge for the top four, sitting only two points behind Real Betis in the final Champions League spot.
Tanguy Nianzou, Joan Jordan, and Alfon Gonzalez are all listed as doubtful for Saturday’s clash, but coach Matias Almeyda is expected to stick with the same XI that dismantled Barcelona 4-1.

Mallorca team overview
Few could have imagined that Mallorca, a team that narrowly missed out on European qualification last season, would find themselves in such an alarming position in the new LaLiga campaign, where simply maintaining their top-flight status is likely to be their main goal.
Having waited until the seventh round for their first win of the campaign, a tight 1-0 triumph over Alaves, the Balearic Islands club quickly slipped back into this season’s harsh reality, going down 2-1 at Athletic Bilbao and remaining at the bottom of the standings.
It's hard to expect Los Piratas to count on any points from Saturday's battle, as they have endured a dismal spell on their visits, having not won an away match since mid-April (D1 L7), and falling short in all four of their trips so far this term.
Even worse, coach Jagoba Arrasate won’t be able to call on Antonio Sanchez or Dani Rodriguez as both midfielders face suspensions, though Japanese winger Takuma Asano might be available after recovering from a minor injury.

Prediction
If Sevilla can replicate the level of determination, sharpness, and courage they showed in their last match before the international break against Barcelona, they should have little trouble coming out on top in Saturday’s clash against Mallorca, a side that has lost seven of their last eight LaLiga visits. Right now, the Andalusian team looks far more assured, and hoping to delight their fans again while the Balearic side remains rooted at the foot of the table.
Three Reasons we expect Sevilla to Win
- Sevilla have triumphed in four of their last six LaLiga matches.
- Mallorca have lost all four of their away LaLiga games this season.
- Sevilla have beaten Mallorca at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in three of the last five encounters.
