During that time, Los Blancos were eliminated from the Champions League and fell nine points behind Barcelona in La Liga. With earlier elimination from the Copa del Rey, there is a big chance they will finish the season trophyless. The fact that bookies give odds of up to 34 for them winning the La Liga title says a lot about their chances. 

After a 4:3 loss against Bayern Munich, coach Álvaro Arbeloa spoke to the media. He said the result was difficult to take, especially given how the game unfolded. The coach heavily criticized Camavinga's red card, saying it had undone everything they've accomplished. However, he praised the players, saying they created enough chances and approached the game the right way. 

Thibaut Courtois and Rodrygo should remain sidelined with their injuries. Meanwhile, Raul Asencio will miss the game due to a severe illness.

Abderrahmane Rebbach collected his fifth yellow card and will serve his one-game suspension. Meanwhile, Facundo Garces will remain sidelined due to his suspension for a forged document related to his Malaysian citizenship, while Carlos Protesoni should also remain sidelined with an injury.
