The Hard Rock Stadium in Miami is the venue for an intriguing FIFA Club World Cup contest on Wednesday evening as Real Madrid takes on Al Hilal.

Real Madrid vs Al Hilal Betting Tips - Real Madrid to Win/Over 1.5

A competitive matchup can be expected as Real Madrid takes on Saudi League opponents Al Hilal in Miami with both teams packed full of international experience.

Set for their first match under the guidance of new boss Xabi Alonso, Real Madrid will be keen to make a big impression in the US, but can expect a stiff test against an Al Hilal side that cannot be underestimated at this level.

Despite ending the season trophyless, Real make the trip to the US in high spirits with victories picked up in six of their eight previous matches. Back-to-back defeats against Barcelona proved the low point for Los Merengues as they finished the campaign as La Liga runners-up.

Goals can usually be expected when Alonso's side are in action. All but four of their last 46 victories saw a minimum of two goals scored. Real also claimed a 5:3 win when these sides last met at the FIFA Club World Cup in 2023, and while we are unlikely to see quite as many goals, a similarly competitive contest should be on the cards.

Al Hilal come into this contest also in solid form, finishing their domestic campaign with six wins and just one defeat in nine previous fixtures. Simone Inzaghi's side will fancy their chances of making an impact in the US with the Saudi League side featuring plenty of talent including Sergej Milinković-Savić, Malcolm and Alexander Mitrovic.

While sure to prove competitive this summer, it seems unlikely that the Saudi's will halt a Real side keen to make a winning impression in the debut of head coach Alonso.

I expect Real to win, and to score at least two goals in Miami.
