Oxford vs Norwich prediction 10.02.2026 | Championship

Oxford United return to the Kassam Stadium after a hard-fought goalless draw against Coventry, with the U’s holding on for a valuable away point despite being reduced to ten men following Will Lankshear’s red card for violent conduct.

Now winless in three matches and with just one victory in eight Championship fixtures, Matt Bloomfield’s side remain deep in relegation trouble, sitting 23rd in the table and four points adrift of safety.

A low-scoring encounter could be on the cards at Kassam Stadium. Oxford have seen under 2.5 goals in five of their last seven fixtures.

Head coach Bloomfield has four absentees this week. Ole Romeny remains sidelined with a broken foot, Brodie Spencer is also out with a foot injury, while James Golding is expected to miss out with a calf injury. 

Elsewhere, Will Lankshear is suspended after his dismissal against Coventry.

Norwich return to Championship action after maintaining their fine recent form with a 2:0 win against Blackburn on Saturday. Late goals from Anis Ben Slimane and Mohamed Touré secured victories for the Canaries. 

Phillipe Clement's side have enjoyed an excellent run of form, picking up six victories from their last eight fixtures. On the road, Norwich won three of their last four Championship games, while they have lost just three of their 13 most recent league games.

The in-form visitors will be confident of at least avoiding defeat this week. The Canaries scored exactly two goals in four of their last six victories, while Oxford failed to score four of their last six games. 

Head coach Clement has no new injury issues. Ante Crnac and Mirko Topić remain sidelined with long-term cruciate ligament injuries, while Amankwah Forson is also unavailable.
