Germany and Norway face the most important clash of the European Under-19 Championship so far, with both teams currently one point behind second-placed England.

Both teams will meet at the Stadionul Anghel Iordănescu on Friday, but even a win for either team might not be enough if England beat the Netherlands in their game.

Germany U19s suffered what can only be described as a disaster in their last match against England U19s. The Germans led 4-1 at half-time and even extended their lead to 5-1 early in the second half, but the young Three Lions pulled off one of the most remarkable comebacks of all time by scoring four goals in 11 minutes to draw 5-5.

Norway's U19s, on the other hand, did not even come close to what the Germans experienced in their second group game. The Norwegians were beaten two goals to nil by the Dutch U19 side and will now have to beat the Germans in their final group game if they are to have any hope of progressing to the next round.
