Nacional have the chance to end a three match winless streak this week when they play host to FC Porto on Friday evening.
The hosts were promoted to the Portuguese top flight for the first time in over four years at the end of last season after finishing second in LigaPro. Tiago Margarido's side have not enjoyed the return they were hoping for, with just one point currently separating them from the automatic relegation places. However, the Alvinegros will take heart ahead of Friday's game from the fact that ten of their thirteen points this season have come at the Estádio da Madeira.
Porto have failed to win the Portuguese top flight in each of the last two seasons. Vítor Bruno's side finished third last term, but the departure of Sporting's Amorin may have given the visitors the chance to reclaim the crown this term. Miguel Baeza head coach Tiago Margarido will be without the services of Lucas Oliveira de França on Friday due to injury.
Lucas lasted only 45 minutes in the defeat to Rio Ave last time out before being replaced due to injury and the goalkeeper is set to be out for 2-3 weeks.
The home side's injury list also includes Nigel Thomas, who has been out since the second week of November with a knee injury.
