While they continued with solid results in the Europa Conference League, where they sit in 16th spot with eight points, the popular Blue and White haven't been as successful in the domestic league. At the moment, securing the Championship Group doesn't seem likely. They are generally in a very bad momentum, with one win in the past nine games, and will try to change that with a win over the Italian team.

After a goalless draw against Basel in the previous game, coach Peter Zeidler spoke to the media. He said they had to be satisfied with the result since they played the last 30-ish minutes with one fewer player. Around a month and a half ago, the club even changed the coach to try to shift the bad momentum, but we can safely say it hasn't paid off, and they might even look worse after that move.
