Juventus vs AS Roma prediction 20.12.2025 | Serie A

In four of the last five seasons, Juventus ended among the top four teams in Serie A. The team from Turin had expectations to fight for the title in the current campaign, but realistically, the Champions League spots should be a much more realistic aim. The guests had significantly better goal-scoring chances, so it is no wonder Juventus recorded another important victory. 

Since Luciano Spalletti came to Juventus almost two months ago, he has maintained the 3-4-2-1 formation implemented by his predecessor, Igor Tudor. However, according to the reports, Spalletti could switch to 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 from the game against AS Roma. Juventus played with four defenders in part of the match against Pafos, and it seems the permanent change could happen soon. 

Juventus' Teun Koopmeiners received his fifth yellow card in the season against Bologna and will not play on Saturday against AS Roma. He will join already unavailable Dusan Vlahovic, Carlo Pinsoglio, Arkadiusz Milik, and Federico Gatti. 

AS Roma are excellent this season. They are fourth on the table, but with only three points fewer than the league leader, Inter Milan. AS Roma won six of the last eight matches. In the most recent outing, Gian Piero Gasperini's team won 1-0 at home against Como. That game was far from easy, but AS Roma's better efficiency was enough for all three points.
