Stefan Billborn’s side have shown signs of momentum in recent weeks, winning five of their last eight matches in all competitions.

IFK will be keen to get back on the winning saddle after slipping to a remarkable 4:3 draw defeat at Elfsborg last weekend. Despite taking a two-goal lead, Billborn´s men were left empty-handed. 

While consistency remains the biggest issue for the home side, IFK have claimed victories in two of their last three home matches, and they will fancy their chances of picking up the points against a badly out-of-form opponent.

A high-scoring Allsvenskan encounter seems likely on Monday. IFK have seen over 2.5 goals in 7 of their last 9 matches while Degerfors have seen the same outcome in eight of their last ten games. 

The hosts have enjoyed dominance in this fixture in recent years, scoring victories in six of their last seven matches against Degerfors. 

Head coach Billborn could make some changes to his side after last week´s remarkable defeat against Elfsborg. Imam Jagne and Rockson Yeboah are among those who could earn a recall to the first XI. 

Degerfors return to Allsvenskan action after finally ending a miserable seven-game losing streak with a draw against Norrköping last week. The Bruket conceded 20 goals while losing seven successive matches since mid-May. 

Henok Goitom’s side conceded three or more goals in four of their last five away matches and another tough day at the office is expected this weekend. 

Head coach Goitom is unlikely to make changes to his side after Degerfors broke their losing run against Norkopping. The visitors have no reported injury issues this week.
