Hvidovre and B 93 will be looking to make an impressive start to the 2025–26 Danish second-tier campaign when they face each other on Friday evening.

B 93 have had a much busier summer transfer window than their hosts. Jonathan Mathys and Ruben Minerba have returned from their respective loan spells, while Carl Björk has been loaned out to Brøndby IF.
