Last season was an amazing one for Guingamp, but they were disappointed with how things ended. Les Guingampais finished fifth in the league and got eliminated in the first round of the promotion play-offs after losing 1-0 to Dunkerque. They also exited the French Cup in the quarter-finals after being beaten by Cannes.
Head coach Sylvain Ripoll would have entered the new season hoping to put last season's disappointments behind them by challenging for the league title, but his side has got off to a very poor start. They picked up only one point from their opening three games, before securing their first win of the campaign away to Bastia just before the international break.
Adrián Ortolá sustained an elbow injury on Match Day 4, so Teddy Henry Guy Bartouche-Selbonne may be selected as goalkeeper, while Albin Demouchy and Donatien Gomis are likely to form the centre-back pairing.
The hosts' injury list also includes centre-back Sohaib Naï, who has missed the last 13 games due to an ankle ligament tear.

Montpellier team overview
Montpellier ended their 16-year spell in the French top flight by finishing bottom of the table last season. Their relegation to Ligue 1 was supposed to be a wake-up call, but the team has shown very little effort, boasting only one win from four games so far in the second division.
