FK Tukums 2000 vs Grobina Betting Tips - Under 2.5 Goals

Two out-of-form sides come head-to-head on Sunday as Tukums takes on fellow Virsliga strugglers Grobina. 

Neither team comes into this clash with any real momentum. Tukums have lost seven of their last ten league matches, while Grobina are in similarly poor shape, with six defeats in their last seven.  As a consequence of that poor form, both sides find themselves hovering near the bottom of the table and badly in need of points this week. Grobina sit eighth while Tukums remain ninth in the ten-team league.

Goals have also been in short supply for both sides. Grobina averaged just 0.54 goals per game on the road. Tukums have been a little better in home games, averaging 1.4 goals in their home fixtures. Still, with just two wins in 11, the hosts have little form coming into this fixture. 

Both of the last two meetings between these sides finished with under 2.5 goals scored, and given their recent struggles, a similarly tight and low-scoring contest seems likely. 

Their recent head-to-head record backs up the idea of a tight contest, with both of the last two meetings ending under 2.5 goals.

Tukums have drawn four of their ten home games this season, and with confidence low in both camps, a stalemate could be on the cards again. 

Under 2.5 goals is my preferred pick for Monday's Virsliga fixture.
