Fiorentina face their first fixture in a fortnight now winless in five matches following a hard-fought 2:2 draw at Genoa before the international break. Goals from Albert Guðmundsson and Roberto Piccoli secured a fifth draw of the campaign for the Viola.

Paolo Vanoli's side have endured a nightmare campaign, and remain bottom of the division without a Serie A victory since the final day of last season. Fiorentina have picked up just five points from 11 games played. 

Particularly poor in recent home games, Vanoli's men picked up just one point from five games played at Stadio Artemio Franchi this season. 

A low-scoring contest could be on the cards in Florence. Ten of 12 previous encounters between these sides finished with fewer than three goals scored.

Head coach Vanoli is unable to call on three first-team players on Saturday. Injured trio Robin Gosens, Christian Kouame and Tariq Lamptey remain unavailable.

Juventus make the trip to Florence after a frustrating goalless draw in the Turin derby two weeks ago. Despite making the better of the goalscoring opportunities, the Old Lady were forced to settle for a point against city rivals Torino.

Since the appointment of Luciano Spalletti as head coach, Juventus have remained unbeaten, but were left frustrated by a 1:1 draw against Sporting in a Champions League contest before the Turin stalemate. Spalletti began his reign with a 2:1 win at Cremonese earlier this month.

Juventus claimed a 1:0 win in three of the last five meetings between these sides, and considering the hosts recent form, should be confident of claiming a hard-fought win this weekend. 

Head coach Spalletti has a couple of expected absentees this weekend. Bremer and Daniele Rugani are likely to miss out for the visitors.
