Fenerbahce vs Nottingham prediction 19.02.2026 | Europa League

Fenerbache, a 19-time Turkish champion, invested a lot of money in recent seasons. Unfortunately, they have constantly finished second, behind their rivals, Galatasaray. This year, the Yellow Canaries are looking strong and are in 2nd place, just three points behind Galatasaray. They generally look better than in previous seasons and even won the Super Cup in early January, beating Galatasaray. That is only their second trophy in the previous decade. 

After a 3:2 win over Trabzonspor, coach Domenico Tedesco spoke to the media. He was happy with the win and the team's belief, emphasising they showed good character. The coach said they have a luxury of many high-tempo players, which helped them overcome difficulties in the game.

Nottingham had a magnificent last season, almost reaching the Champions League. However, after sacking coach Nuno Espirito Santo due to a disagreement with the president, Evangelos Marinakis, the situation changed drastically. This year, Nottingham have consistently been in and around the danger zone in the PL and are currently in 17th place - just three points from the danger zone! They were also eliminated early from the FA Cup and EFL Cup, and pretty much their only bright spot of the season has been in the Europa League. 

After coach Nuno Espirito Santo left, the Forest changed two more coaches (Ange Postecoglou and Sean Dyche). On 15th February, the club appointed the 4th coach of the season, Vítor Pereira, who will make his debut against Fenerbahce. Interestingly, Pereira was already in charge of Fenerbahce twice, in the 2015/16 and 2021/22 seasons. 

After Vítor Pereira's appointment, the coach spoke to the media. He spoke very little about the season's goals and more about the club's good conditions. The coach said he wants his players to have the freedom to express themselves, enjoy themselves, and be happy.
