Midtjylland and SønderjyskE face off on Matchday 2 of the 2025–26 Danish top-flight campaign, both looking to secure their first win of the season.

The hosts came from two goals down to draw 3–3 with OB in their opening league game last Sunday. Five days later, Thomas Thomasberg’s side hosted Hibernian in the first leg of the Europa League second qualifying round. The Wolves drew 1:1 and once again conceded the first goal of the match.
