Everton vs Tottenham prediction 26.10.2025 | Premier League

Everton are one of the few teams in England that have never suffered relegation from the Premier League, at least in this format since its creation in 1992. However, their last several seasons weren't really great as they were constantly in the lower half of the league's table. This season, the Toffees have had mixed results, but all of their poor results have come on the road. Therefore, in order to keep themselves away from the danger zone, they have to keep winning points at home. Right now, they are in 12th place with 11 points from eight rounds. 

After a 2:0 loss vs Manchester City in the previous game, coach David Moyes spoke to the media. He was quite pleased with the performance but not with the result itself. "We've come here and put on a good show, up until the first goal certainly. Created a couple of chances in the first half. I wanted to try and challenge the likes of City and Arsenal where we can. We've challenged them today, but we've come up a bit short," the coach added.

Tottenham came to this season after a super strange one. They did a fantastic job in the EL, winning the title, but were atrocious in the Premier League, finishing 17th! That resulted in sacking coach Ange Postecoglou and the appointment of Thomas Frank. After an amazing start to the season, where they won four out of five games, the Spurs slowed pretty significantly in recent games. Now, they are in sixth place with 14 points - still just five points away from the top spot. 

A big reason for Tottenham's fairly poor results in recent games is the large number of injuries. For this game vs the Toffees, the Spurs could have up to nine players out - most of them key pieces of rotation.
