- Kickoff: 17:00 UK / 18:00 CEST
- Venue: Villa Park (Birmingham)
On Saturday evening, England will host one of the weakest national teams in Europe, Andorra, in the World Cup Qualifiers. While England aim to continue their flawless start in these Qualifiers, looking for their fourth win in four games, Andorra are still searching for their first points (and goals) in their fifth game.

Euro Qualification
These teams met just three months ago when England won 1:0. Even though England secured a minimal victory, they thoroughly dominated the game as they had 3.35 xG and 83% ball possession.
Looking further back, England, expectedly, won all seven h2h matches with a combined goal difference of 26:0. That alone speaks a lot about the difference in quality.
When it comes to the number of goals, five of those seven went over 2.5 goals (71%), and four of seven went over 3.5 goals (57%).
England team overview
England, one of the best national teams in the World, have not had a major title since 1966, when they won the World Cup. They came close to winning their first EURO title in the previous two EUROs, where they reached the Finals, but lost. Even though they went to the finals, coach Gareth Southgate suffered heavy criticism for the style of their play, and because of it, the manager decided to step down.
After a solid UEFA Nations League where they managed to secure promotion to League A, England continued with wins in World Cup Qualifiers under new coach Thomas Tuchel. Still, they had a really easy schedule, beating Albania, Latvia, and Andorra. After the Andorra game, England will face Serbia, which is considered the second-best team in Group K.
According to credible sources, Bukayo Saka, Jude Bellingham, and Cole Palmer aren't called for the NT due to minor injuries.

Andorra team overview
Andorra is ranked 174 on the FIFA World Ranking List and 51st (out of 55 teams) in Europe. Expectedly, they haven't had an appearance in a major tournament, which will hardly change any time soon. Before the World Cup Qualifiers, Andorra had another bad UEFA Nations League campaign, where they finished as the last team in group 2 (League D).
In the WC Qualifiers, Andorra lost all four games without scoring a goal. For them, even scoring a goal seems like a challenge.

Prediction
Before losing in the friendlies to Senegal (3:1), England were on a very good six-game winning streak. To be fair, those wins came against mediocre or poor NTs, but the Andorra game will not be any more challenging. Yes, the previous game in the WC Qualifiers was against Andorra, where they only won 1:0, but they definitely deserved a lot bigger win as they had over 3.3 xG.
Meanwhile, Andorra lost all four games in the WC Qualifiers and failed to score a goal. Looking further back, Anorra lost 11 out of the last 13 games. The only time they avoided defeats were against San Marino and Malta.
Simply, the difference in overall quality is too great, and anything but a massive win for England would be a surprise.
Why England should win and cover the -2 AH spread
- England won six of the last seven games
- Andorra lost all four WC Qualifier games
- England won all seven h2h games
- England covered the -2.5 AH spread on five out of seven h2h games
