Derby vs Leeds prediction 11.01.2026 | FA Cup

Derby County come into Sunday's FA Cup contest looking to bounce back from a 2:1 home defeat against Wrexham in the Championship last weekend. Ben Brereton Diaz was on the scoresheet as the Rams slumped to another home reversal. 

John Eustace's side have been in mixed form in recent weeks, picking up two wins, while losing three of their eight most recent fixtures. Derby sit 13th in the Championship, six points outside of the playoff positions. 

A lack of form in home fixtures has been an issue for the hosts. Eustace's men failed to win nine of 14 league games at Pride Park this season. 

Frequently involved in entertaining fixtures, all but two of Derby's last 14 games finished with both teams on the scoresheet.

Head coach Eustace has three players unavailable this weekend. Max Johnston, David Ozoh and top scorer Carlton Morris remain sidelined.

Leeds United make the trip to Derby after a remarkable 4:3 defeat at Newcastle earlier this week. Despite taking the lead on three separate occasions, Daniel Farke's men left the North-East empty handed following Harvey Barnes incredible 102nd minute winner at St James's Park. 

Despite an improved run of performances, which had seen the visitors unbeaten in seven games before their defeat at Newcastle, Leeds have been unable to find much winning form. The Lilywhites failed to win ten of their last 12 matches.

Defensive vulnerabilities have led to several high-scoring outcomes in Leeds recent results. All but one of their last 11 games finished with both teams scoring.

Head coach Farke has just two expected absentees this weekend. Daniel James and Jayden Bogle are both tipped to remain unavailable.
