Meanwhile, Greece got off to a winning start in their 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign when they beat Belarus 5-1 in September.

The Sky-Blue-Whites have not won since then, losing to Denmark and Scotland. Having conceded three goals in each of their last two matches, Sunday’s game is likely to be another tough watch for Greece fans.

Head coach Ivan Jovanović is expected to make wholesale changes to the side that was on the pitch from kick-off in that game, given the result and scoreline against Scotland last time out.
