Crystal Palace come into Tuesday's EFL Cup clash after a frustrating 0:0 draw against Sunderland on Saturday. In a drab contest devoid of attacking quality, the Eagles were forced to settle for a point.

While the Eagles have struggled to score in recent weeks - Palace bagged just five goals in six games, including three goals in one match against Aston Villa - they have maintained defensive strength. Keeping clean sheets in five of their last six matches.

Premier League quality is likely to come to the fore this week with the hosts boasting a strong record in this fixture  - Palace won each of their last four matches against Millwall since 2020, and I expect a similar outcome this week. 

Head coach Glasner is likely to consider some alterations to his first XI this week. 5Justin Devenny and Christantus Uche are among those in contention for a place in the side.

Millwall make the short trip to Selhurst Park now winless in two matches after a 1:1 draw against London rivals Charlton last weekend. Raees Bangura-Williams' late goal rescued a point for the Lions.

A mixed start to the season has seen Alex Neil's men win two and lose two of their first five Championship fixtures. Millwall did secure their place in Tuesday's EFL Cup clash with an excellent 2:1 win against Coventry last month.

Like the home side, the Lions have lacked quality in the final third this season. Millwall scored just five goals in their last six matches.

Head coach Neil has three players absent from his traveling party on Tuesday. Danny McNamar, Lukas Jensen and Will Smallbone are expected to remain unavailable for the visitors.
