Como are excellent this year. They are sixth on the table, and it will not be surprising if Cesc Fabregas's team plays at least in the Conference League next season. Como had a slight crisis in December with two consecutive defeats, but they beat Lecce 3-0 in the most recent match and returned to the right track. The visitors dominated throughout the game and had no trouble securing another victory. Now, Como will welcome Udinese at the home stadium, where they are still unbeaten this season. 

After Chelsea sacked Enzo Maresca, Como's Cesc Fabregas came out as a possible solution. However, according to English media, Liam Rosenior is the favorite for the job, so Fabregas should remain at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia. 

Como's Diego Carlos received his fifth yellow card in the previous Serie A round against Lecce and will serve a suspension in the upcoming clash. Also, Assane Diao, Alvaro Morata, and Edoardo Goldaniga are injured, while Jayden Addai is questionable, and his status will be clearer closer to the kickoff. 

Udinese have become the textbook definition of a mid-table side in recent years, and this season appears to be following the same pattern. They are comfortably above the relegation battle, yet lack the quality and consistency to mount a serious push for European qualification. Udinese haven't played well recently, having won only one of their last five matches. In the most recent outing, Kosta Runjaic's team played 1-1 at home against Lazio. Although the teams were pretty even for most of the game, the hosts needed a late second-half goal to avoid defeat. 

Udinese's Vakoun Bayo and Rui Modesto are at the African Cup of Nations and will not play for the club for the next few weeks. Also, Arthur Atta and Jordan Zemura are unavailable due to injuries, while Nicolo Bertola is questionable for Saturday.
