Although their momentum was unexpectedly halted by a shocking 2-1 defeat to the high-flying newcomers Sunderland on October 25, Chelsea delivered a superb response, grinding out a tight 1-0 London derby win over Spurs before dismantling Wolves 3-0.

As they approach Gameweek 12 of the Premier League, the Blues sit comfortably in third place and will certainly fancy their title chances, standing just six points behind leaders Arsenal. Maintaining this newly generated momentum will be vital if they are to remain firmly in the championship race.

Head coach Enzo Maresca, however, is dealing with an extensive injury list, notably involving regular starters Pedro Neto and Enzo Fernández. Both have recently returned to training following their respective setbacks, and their availability will be determined ahead of Saturday’s away fixture.
