Braga vs Feyenoord prediction 24.09.2025 | Europa League

Braga established itself as the fourth-best team in Portugal in the previous years. This season, they started well by passing three rounds of the Europa League qualification rounds, but Carlos Vicens' team can't be fully satisfied with only nine points in the opening six Liga Portugal rounds. Braga won only one of the last five matches in all competitions. In the previous game, they played 1-1 on the road against Vitoria Guimaraes. That was another match that Braga had expected more of.

Braga failed to win against Vitoria Guimaraes, and the head coach, Carlos Vicens, was expectedly unsatisfied. He said, "We're not happy because we wanted to win and give the fans something to cheer about, as we haven't won in the last few matches. We're not happy with the result. There's always more we can do. We conceded a goal when we were in control. Then we saved a penalty, also when we were dominating the match. Braga will be without Jonatas Noro, Maho Dorgeles, Paulo Oliveira, and Sandro Vidigal on Wednesday against Feyenoord.

Feyenoord had an opportunity to play in the Champions League this season, but they lost against Fenerbahce in the qualifications. Since the defeat against the Turkish side, Feyenoord started to play better as they won four games in a row. The great run ended last weekend, when Robin van Persie's team played 3-3 on the road against AZ Alkmaar. The guests were close to all three points in that match, but the home side saved themself deep in the second half's stoppage time. 

Feyenoord's head coach, Robin van Persie, was obviously disappointed by conceding so late, but he shortly commented that they have to focus on the next match and Braga. 

Thomas Beelen, In-beom Hwang, Jordan Lotomba, Jakub Moder, Gernot Trauner, and Shiloh Zand are unavailable for Wednesday's game in Braga.
