Regarding the number of goals, five out of the past ten h2h games ended with three or more goals. At the same time, both teams scored in the same number of games (five).
Bournemouth team overview
Bournemouth constantly improved over the previous three seasons, finishing 15th, 12th, and 9th. At the start of this season, it seemed the Cherries would continue with such a trend, as they had been in the top five spots in the first quarter of the season. Unfortunately, since then, they have been on a terrible streak and are now in 15th place. Luckily, the bottom three teams have been terrible, and the Cherries are still nine points away from the danger zone.
After a 3:2 loss against Arsenal, coach Andoni Iraola spoke to the media. He expressed his frustration after another narrow defeat, saying they created enough chances to win at least one point. "Overall, it was quite a level game… it is very difficult to score two against Arsenal, but to finish without a point is frustrating," the coach added.
The team should have no new absences, but the ones who missed the previous games with injuries should remain sidelined - Tyler Adams, Matai Akinmboni, Ryan Christie, William Dennis, Veljko Milosavljevic, and Ben Doak.

Tottenham team overview
Tottenham had a terrible last season under Ange Postecoglou, finishing 17th, which is their worst finish ever in the Premier League. Interestingly, coach Postecoglou claimed he always wins trophies in his second year, and he did so by winning the Europa League. Unfortunately, even after changing the coach during the offseason, the Spurs continued with poor performances in the PL and are now in 13th place with 27 points from 20 rounds. However, they are still only four points away from European spots, but have to start winning games, especially at home, where they have been atrocious.
The Spurs have massive problems with absences. Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma are at AFCON with their national teams, while Dejan Kulusevski, James Maddison, Dominic Solanke, Destiny Udogie should all remain sidelined with their long-term injuries. Unfortunately, Wilson Odobert and Mohammed Kudus both received injuries in their last game vs Sunderland and will most likely miss the game as well. On the positive side, Xavi Simons served his one-game suspension and will be available.

Prediction
Bournemouth have been excellent for this type of bet, with five of their games ending with both teams scoring. In the last two games, they scored two goals per game against Arsenal and Chelsea - teams much better placed than Tottenham. So, scoring at least one against the Spurs looks pretty likely.
Tottenham have been pretty inconsistent this season but are scoring regularly, despite the results. In the last 13 games, the Spurs scored at least once in 11 out of them - 85%. Also, in the PL, Tottenham is one of only six teams scoring more on the road than at home.
Considering all the above, we believe that a both teams to score bet is the safest option for this Premier League tie.
3 Reasons why both teams should score
- Both teams scored in Bournemouth's last five games
- Bournemouth scored two goals per game in the previous two matches vs Arsenal and Chelsea
- Tottenham scored a goal in 11 out of the previous 13 matches
