Bournemouth return to Vitality Stadium after suffering a comprehensive 5:1 defeat against Chelsea on Saturday.
Jordan Henderson and Morgan Rogers put Chelsea in control inside the opening three minutes before Joao Pedro added two more after the interval. Evanilson pulled one back for the Cherries, but Henderson's second goal completed a miserable afternoon for Marco Rose's side.
The result extended Bournemouth's winless start to six Premier League fixtures, with three draws and three defeats recorded in the EPL this season.
Their form in cup competition has been more encouraging. Bournemouth secured a 4:0 victory against Lincoln before claiming a historic 2:1 win in San Sebastian against Real Sociedad in their first-ever European fixture.
Head coach Rose remains unable to call on Alex Scott, Junior Kroupi and Julian Araujo while Amine Adli, Justin Kluivert and Veljko Milosavljevic require late fitness checks.
David Brooks has resumed full training and could return to the first XI.

Sturm Graz make the trip to England after securing an impressive 2:0 victory against Austria Wien on Saturday. Oumar Diakite scored twice as Fabio Ingolitsch's side claimed an excellent road success in Vienna.
