Borussia Dortmund vs Bayer Leverkusen prediction 11.04.2026 | Bundesliga

Borussia Dortmund were solid this year, but after their elimination from the Champions League 1/16 Finals by Atalanta, they started playing even better in the Bundesliga. At the moment, the Prussians are in 2nd place with 64 points from 28 rounds - 2.3 per game. However, Bayer Munich have been simply incredible this year and are nine points ahead. The Prussians are only looking to finish in second place, and with only six rounds left, it is almost impossible for them to move up or down.

Karim Adeyemi received his fifth yellow card in the previous game against Stuttgart and will serve his one-game suspension. Meanwhile, Emre Can, Felix Nmecha, and Filippo Mane should all remain sidelined. Also, according to coach Niko Kovac, Yan Couto will most likely miss the match due to a knee problem. 

Bayer Leverkusen's season has been pretty inconsistent, and we can safely say they took a step backward compared to the past two years. The Black and Reds were particularly bad for the past month and a half across competitions. They were on a five-game winless streak before finally winning their last game 6:3 against Wolfsburg. That big win might be the spark they needed, as they are currently in 6th place and four points away from the desired fourth place and a Champions League appearance next season. 

So, unlike Dortmund, which is almost certain to finish in second place, Bayer Leverkusen are expecting a grueling end of the season for that fourth place. They are also still in the DFB Pokal, where they will face Bayern Munich in the Semi-Finals after the Dortmund and Augsburg games. 

The team should have no new injuries, but Lucas Vazquez, Jarell Quansah, Martin Terrier, and Arthur, who missed the previous game(s), should remain sidelined.
