Bolton face their second home fixture in the space of three days after a vital 2:1 win against Leyton Orient on Saturday. Mason Burstow's stoppage-time penalty secured a dramatic victory for the Trotters. 

Steven Schumacher's side enjoyed a strong run in the past week, picking up seven points from a possible nine, to strengthen their hopes of promotion to the Championship. Bolton sit third in the division, six points behind second-placed Lincoln. 

An excellent home record has been the foundation for the Trotters strong campaign. Schumacher's side won nine and lost just one of 14 League One matches at Toughsheet Community Stadium this season. 

Bolton also boast a solid defensive record, conceding just eight goals in 14 home games this season. Six of their eight most recent matches also finished with under 2.5 goals scored.

Head coach Schumacher has no new injury issues this week.

Burton face back-to-back away games after a narrow 2:1 defeat against Lincoln on Saturday. Jack Moylan's brace secured the points for the home side. 

Gary Bowyer's side have been far from their best in recent weeks. The Brewers lost four of their last five league fixtures, and now find themselves 2oth in the division, just one point above the drop zone.

A poor away record has been one of the biggest issues for Burton this season. Bowyer's men lost four of their five on the road, while they have won just three of 13 fixtures on their travels this season. 

Head coach Bowyer could make one or two changes to his first XI on Tuesday. Sebastian Revan and Fábio Tavares are among those in contention for a recall to the side.
