Barcelona spent part of the week in England for the first leg of the Champions League tie against Newcastle United. The match finished 1–1. It was tight, physical, and at times messy. Still, Hansi Flick’s side fought hard to keep the tie level heading into the return leg.

Because of the demanding European schedule, rotation feels likely. Ferran Torres could come in. Marcus Rashford may also start, with Dani Olmo pushing forward behind the attack.

Sevilla come into this match slightly fresher. The Andalusian club have not played since last Sunday’s 1–1 draw with Rayo Vallecano. That result stretched the unbeaten run to five games.

Away form tells a different story. Los Nervionenses have struggled on the road this season. In fact, the win during this recent unbeaten spell is the only victory in the last eight away matches.

Up front, Akor Adams should lead the line after scoring his seventh  league goal of the campaign last weekend. Alexis Sánchez is expected to support him. Marcão, Peque Fernández, and Kike Salas remain sidelined with injuries.
