Arkadag is the best Turkmenistan team in the last few years. This year, they already won another national league title with almost 30 points more than the next team on the table. However, Arkadag struggled in the continental competition they had won the previous season, the AFC Champions League 2. Arkadag will welcome Al Khalidiyah in the upcoming clash with a lot of confidence, as they have won the last five matches in a row. In the most recent outing, Akhmet Allaberdiyev's team won 4-1 at home against Nebitci. 

Although Arkadag scored 105 goals in 28 matches in the Yokary Liga, they struggled with offense in the continental competition. In the AFC Champions League 2, Arkadag scored only four goals in five rounds. Luckily for them, the defense conceded only six goals, so Allaberdiyev's team still has solid chances for the knockout phase. 

Al Khalidiyah were founded only five years ago, but they have already become one of the best teams in Bahrain with two titles in the last three seasons. Lassaad Chabbi's team is excellent in the current campaign, too, as Al Khalidiyah are at the top of the standings in the Premier League with 18 points from the first eight matches. Probably the biggest strength of Al Khalidiyah this season is their defense. They conceded only two goals in five AFC Champions League 2 matches, while in the national league, Al Khalidiyah conceded six goals in eight rounds. Also, it is worth noting that Al Khalidiyah matches are usually low-scoring.
