Al-Fahya enter Thursday's Saudi Pro League contest after slipping to a 1:0 defeat against Al-Shabab on Sunday. Josh Brownhill's first-half goal secured the points for Imanol Alguacil Barrenetxea's side. 

Before that frustrating road reversal, Al-Fahya had secured victories in both of two previous SPL games against Al-Fateh (2:0) and Al-Khaleej (3:1). Both wins came at Al Majma'ah Sport City.

Past the midway point in the SPL season, Barrenetxea's side sit 12th in the division with 20 points on the board. Al-Fahya sit eight points clear of the relegation zone.

Head coach Barrenetxea has no new injury issues this week. Silvère Ganvoula and Rayan Enad could earn recalls should the hosts opt to freshen their selection on Thursday. 

Al Najma arrive at Al Majma'ah Sport City after another hard-luck story in their SPL defeat against Al Ittihad last weekend. Mahamadou Doumbia's early goal ensured another away reversal for Mário Silva's struggling side.

A dismal debut season in the Saudi top flight has seen the visitors pick up just five points from 19 games played. Al Najma failed to win any of those fixtures, while they have suffered deaths in all but two of ten road fixtures.

Despite their dismal form, both teams have a good chance to get on the scoresheet at Al Majma'ah Sport City on Thursday. Al Najma have seen BTTS in six of their last eight fixtures. Silva's side failed to score in only 4 four of 15 previous league fixtures.

Head coach Silva is unlikely to make too many changes from the side that slipped to defeat against Al Ittihad. The visitors have no reported injury issues.
