Al-Ahli Dohavs Andijon prediction 24.12.2025 | AFC Champions League Two

Al-Ahli Doha come into Wednesday's AFC Champions League Two contest in winning form after a narrow 1:0 victory against Al Shamal SC in the Qatari Stars League last week. Nasser Ibrahim´s goal on the stroke of half-time secured the points for Igor Bišćan´s side. 

While often involved in high-scoring outcomes domestically, Al-Ahli have been less entertaining in their continental exploits. Doha sit top of Champions League Two, Group B despite scoring just five goals in five games played. Three of those matches finished with fewer than three goals scored. 

In an incredibly tight section, Bišćan´s men have been held to draws in four of five fixtures, with their only win - a 2:1 success against Al Khaldiya coming at the end of October.

Head coach Bišćan is unlikely to make too many changes from the side that edged past Al Shamal last week. Yousef Marei remains a long-term absentee for the home side.

Andijon make the trip to Qatar after a more than three-week long break since their most recent fixture - a 2:1 win against Bunyodkor in the Uzbekistan Premier League at the end of November. 

A less than impressive run of form in the past couple of months has seen Samvel Babayan´s men lose three and win just two of nine games played. A lack of firepower has led to draws in four of their last nine games. 

Indeed, an inability to turn draws into victories has been the biggest issue for Andijon in their AFC Champions League Two campaign. Remarkably, Babayan's men were held to draws in all five of their Group B fixtures, leaving them third in the section, two points behind Al-Ahli, heading into the final round of fixtures.

Defensively strong, Andijon conceded just one goal in those five games, with four matches finishing goalless. 

Head coach Babayan has no reported injury issues this week.
