England and New Zealand are set to renew one of rugby's greatest rivalries when they meet in Twickenham on 15 November. This game carries extra importance, as Steve Borthwick's men are on a nine-game winning run, yet they haven't beaten New Zealand since that famous 2019 World Cup semi-final. On the other side, the All Blacks arrive in London after a narrow escape against Scotland.
At MightyTips, our experts break down both squads and their recent performances to deliver a couple of predictions for Saturday's matchup.

New Zealand have dominated the recent head-to-head, winning eight of the last ten games, with England's last victory coming back in 2019. Even so, many of these contests have been incredibly tight. The 25-25 draw in 2022 shows just how small the margins often are.
England are having a very good year so far. The only loss in 2025 was against Ireland in their first game of the Six Nations Championship, which ultimately ended up costing them the title. Since then, they've looked sharp and confident, defeating Australia (25-7) and Fiji (38-18) in the Autumn Nations Series. These results have lifted them to fourth in the World Rugby rankings, and they're now very close to overtaking Ireland for third.

England make a few important changes for this one, with Fin Smith missing out entirely after starting against Fiji, and George Ford taking back the No.10 shirt. Captain Maro Itoje, Jamie George, Freddie Steward and Sam Underhill all return to the starting XV, giving the side a more familiar look. The only real setbacks are the injuries to Ollie Chessum and Tommy Freeman, both picked up last weekend.
New Zealand have put together a strong 2025 campaign, winning nine of their eleven matches so far. They started with a complete three-match victory over France, including an impressive 43-17 win in Wellington. However, the team struggled against South Africa in the Rugby Championship. They narrowly won the first game, but suffered a heavy 43-10 loss in the second one. The All Blacks' first two games in the Autumn Nations Series ended with wins over Ireland 26-13 and Scotland 25-17, setting them up confidently for Twickenham showdown.

Scott Barrett returns from injury to captain the team, with Simon Parker also coming back into the starting XV. That pushes Josh Lord and Wallace Sititi to the bench, giving the All Blacks plenty of impact later in the game. Out wide, Leicester Fainga'anuku shifts to the wing to cover for Caleb Clarke, who is sidelined with a concussion. The team is also without Luke Jacobson, Samipeni Finau and Jordie Barrett.
England's nine-game winning streak and steady improvement under Borthwick give them a genuine shot at ending their six-year drought against New Zealand. With disciplined defence, sharp game management and a Twickenham crowd lifting them, England have enough momentum to finally claim a landmark victory.
Recent games between these sides tend to be tense but low-scoring, with only three of the last ten meetings going over 46.5 points. England's structured defence and New Zealand's more controlled approach both point toward a measured, physical contest. Backing the under 46.5 appears the right angle.
