Bet of the Day - 19.11.2025

Islam Makhachev became the two-division champion last weekend, celebrating a 50-45 victory over Jack Della Maddalena. He is on a 16-fight winning streak, repeating the UFC record set by Anderson Silva, and back at the number 1 spot in the pound-for-pound rankings.

While the Dagestanian won't fight at least until the middle of March 2026 because of Ramadan, some bookmakers already have the next Makhachev's opponent odds ready. Let's look at the top-5 contenders.

🥊 Odds
Kamaru Usman 3.25
Michael Morales 4.00
Ian Machado Garry 4.25
Shavkat Rakhmonov 4.50
Ilia Topuria 5.00

Usman leads the way, even though he is on a one-fight winning streak. Makhachev called him out after beating Della Maddalena, and Usman said before that bout that he is ready to challenge the winner. This is an ideal option for Makhachev to set a new record of winning 17 fights in a row, as the Nigerian Nightmare is 38 years old. The UFC would be happy with such a poster, too.

Morales, Machado Garry and Rakhmonov all deserve their title shot much more than Usman, but they have time on their side. As for Topuria, this superfight is ideal for the White House if Uncle Dana can't bring Conor McGregor or Jon Jones to that event. However, the UFC will try their best to make an American headline this card. That's why betting on Usman at 3.25 to face Makhachev next looks like a very valuable choice.

I’ve been a keen sports fan since childhood, and the World Cup 1994 in the United States is probably the first big competition I remember in detail. Who can forget a five-goal match by Oleg Salenko that didn't mean a thing?! I’ve worked in UEFA for 15 years, so I no longer watch football nowadays. My favourite sports are American football, baseball, darts, and snooker, and I know everything about the UFC.
