Two sides separated by five points in the Brazilian top flight meet on Saturday night as Vasco da Gama play host to Botafogo.
The hosts prepare for Saturday’s game brimming with confidence, having not only ended a Serie A two-match losing streak against Sao Paulo last time out, but also having scored three goals in a league match for the second time in four games. That victory took Fernando Diniz’s men within two points of the top 12 and they will be confident of securing another win this weekend.
