Uzbekistan vs Venezuela prediction 30.03.2026 | FIFA Series

Uzbekistan kicked off their FIFA Series campaign with an impressive 3-1 win against Gabon last Friday. Despite falling behind early at Milliy Stadioni, Fabio Cannavaro’s side responded well to secure victory.

Eldor Shomurodov was among the scorers in a strong attacking display.

The Asia side have shown some fine form in recent results, securing seven wins while losing just one of ten previous internationals. Victories against Egypt and Iran highlight the improvements being made by Italian boss Cannavaro. 

Impressive attacking displays from both nations in their opening FIFA Series contests suggests we can expect a high-scoring outcome on Monday. Uzbekistan have seen over 2.5 goals scored in four of six previous internationals, including each of their last three matches. 

Head coach Cannavaro is unlikely to make too many alterations from the XI that eased past Gabon. Eldor Shomurodov is poised to win his 90th cap this week.

Venezuela comes into Monday's FIFA Series encounter with spirits raised by a fine 4:1 win against Trinidad and Tobago on Friday. Following a goalless opening period, Salomón Rondón and Delvin Alfonzo both scored twice after the break to secure a big win for Oswaldo Vizcarrondo’s side. 

Before Friday’s morale-boosting win, Venezuela had lost five of six previous international fixtures since June last year. 

Defensive lapses have proved costly, with the South Americans leaking 15 goals across seven previous internationals, including a 6:3 defeat against Colombia. 

Head coach Vizcarrondo is likely to make some changes to his first XI on Monday. Salomón Rondón is set to earn a recall to the side after his second-half brace against Trinidad and Tobago.
