- Venue: Stadium de Toulouse (Toulouse)
In the previous two seasons since their promotion, Toulouse finished 13th and 11th. This year, "Les Violets" were in a position to have a much better league finish. After the first part of the season, it looked like they could maybe contend for European spots, considering they were in eighth place after 18 rounds. Unfortunately, the last part of the season has been a disaster. Les Violets won just two points in the previous seven rounds and have dropped to 12th place. Still, they are eight points away from falling to the relegation playout, and with only three rounds to go, we can safely say they are not in danger of slipping to 16th place.
Rennes had a really good period between 2019/20 and 2022/23, as they secured Europe every single time, finishing between fourth and sixth place. However, last season was bad, considering they finished 10th, and this one will not be any better, it seems. The Red and Blacks are sitting in 11th place with 38 points from 31 matches - not even remotely close to European spots. So, similarly to Toulouse, Rennes will not move significantly up or down regardless of the results in the last three rounds.
Toulouse vs Rennes pick: Rennes to win or draw
As the season progresses, Toulouse are only getting worse and worse. They won just two points in the last seven matches, and even those two draws vs Nantes and Monaco could have easily been losses as they were outplayed in both matches. So, we could easily speak about a seven-game losing streak.
Rennes, meanwhile, are in solid form, winning two of the last three. This season, they haven't been spectacular away from home, far from it. However, lately, that hasn't been the case. The Red and Blacks managed to win four of the last six - 67% win rate.
Considering Toulouse's absolutely terrible form and all the above, we firmly believe that Rennes can secure at least one point in this Ligue 1 tie.

Toulouse team news
Forward Noah Edjouma received a straight red card in the previous match and will serve his one-game suspension against Rennes. Still, Edjouma is not a key part of the rotation, and his absence will not be a big factor. On the other hand, central defender Mark McKenzie served his one-game suspension and will be available.
Zakaria Aboukhlal, Umit Akdag, Rasmus Nicolaisen, Niklas Schmidt, and Edhy Zuliani, who missed the previous games with injuries, should remain sidelined.

Rennes team news
After a 4:1 loss to Lyon, coach Habib Beye spoke to the media. He said they prepared well for the match but lacked the intensity and effort. The coach said they won seven out of the last 11 games and lost games only when they lacked the intensity.
When it comes to injuries, the players who missed the previous matches should remain sidelined - Ayanda Sishuba, Alidu Seidu, and Mikayil Faye.
