Tottenham had great expectations for the 2025/26 season, but currently, they look like only a mid-table Premier League team, while in the Champions League, they should be among the top 24 teams to advance to the knockout phase. The recent few weeks were tough for Tottenham as Thomas Frank's team were on a run of five games without victory. Tottenham ended the negative streak in their most recent outing, winning 2-0 at home against Brentford. The home side had complete control throughout the game, so the guests didn't have a realistic chance for points. 

The last few weeks have put Thomas Frank in danger. Tottenham didn't play well in recent weeks, but the head coach have another concern in reports that he could lose the dressing room. It seems that some players are disappointed with Frank's managerial style and tactical adjustments just before the kickoff. The manager appears backed by the board right now, but a few consecutive defeats could make problems in the dressing room even bigger. 

Tottenham have some problems with missing players. Dominic Solanke, Kota Takai, James Maddison, Radu Dragusin, and Yves Bissouma are injured and will not play on Tuesday against Slavia Prague. 

Slavia Prague have a good season. In the domestic competition, they are at the top of the standings with five points more than Sparta Prague, while in the Champions League, they still have some chances for the 1/16 final phase. Slavia Prague are undefeated in the last five matches. In the previous game, they won 2-1 on the road against Teplice. The guests were significantly better, and it wouldn't be undeserved if they won with a more significant margin. 

The Czech national team is without the head coach right now, and Slavia's Jindrich Trpisovsky seems to be among the favorites for the position, according to the media. However, Trpisovsky, after a win against Teplice, said that he doesn't have the ambition to lead the national team, but also remained mysterious by saying that one thing can change his opinion. 

Dominik Javorcek, Oscar Dorley, and Petr Sevcik are injured and will not play on Tuesday in London. Also, Tomas Chory is questionable, and his status will be clearer closer to the kickoff.
