Tottenham are far from the level they used to be. Last season, the Spurs ended 17th, and this season, they are not significantly better. Tottenham are currently only eight points above the relegation zone. It is hard to imagine Thomas Frank's team getting into danger, but they certainly have to improve. Tottenham are undefeated in the last three matches across all competitions. In the previous game, they won 2-0 on the road against Eintracht Frankfurt. The visitors were a significantly better team, so it is no wonder they recorded another victory. 

Raheem Sterling left Chelsea this week, and he is free to choose his next club. Tottenham are one of the clubs interested in an experienced winger. Also, the Spurs are mentioned as a possible new club for Omar Marmoush, too, who doesn't get enough playing time in Manchester City. However, Aston Villa, Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid, Galatasaray, and Fenerbahce are also interested in the forward, and Tottenham will have a hard time acquiring the Egyptian. 

Tottenham have big problems with injuries. They will be without James Maddison, Rodrigo Bentancur, Mohammmed Kudus, Ben Davies, Lucas Bergvall, Richarlison, Dejan Kulusevski, and Pedro Porro. Also, Micky van de Ven is questionable. 

The 2025/26 season could be another for Manchester City without the Premier League title. After finishing third last year, they are currently four points behind the league leader, Arsenal. Pep Guardiola's team played well in the last two months with only two defeats in the last 17 matches. In the previous game, they won 2-0 at home against Galatasaray. The hosts dominated throughout the match, and it was never in question which team would come out with a victory. 

Manchester City's Jeremy Doku suffered an injury in the first half of the match against Galatasaray. Pep Guardiola issued the worrying update by saying that he hopes that the winger will be ready for March, so he obviously won't play on Sunday in London. Besides Doku, Manchester City will also be without Josko Gvardiol, Mateo Kovacic, John Stones, Ruben Dias, and Savinho.
