The Serie A season comes to a close at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino on Sunday as Torino takes on Roma in Turin.
Torino vs Roma Betting Tips - Roma to Win/Under 2.5 Goals
Goals are likely to be at a premium when Torino and Roma square-off in the final round of Serie A fixtures on Sunday evening.
Roma make the trip to Turin still fighting to qualify for the Champions League with the visitors currently fifth in the division, one point behind fourth-placed Juventus who bring their season to a close with a trip to Venezia. Roma must win and hope Juventus drop points if they are to secure a place in the luctrative UCL league phase.
Led for the final time by retiring head coach Claudio Ranieri, the Giallorossi have enjoyed a superb second-half of the season, remaining unbeaten in 20 of their last 21 Serie A games since mid-December. A superb run of victories saw Roma win 11 of their 14 most recent league fixtures, but they can expect a difficult assignment on Sunday against a tough-to-beat Torino side.
At the Stadio Olimpico Grande, the hosts enjoyed a nine-game unbeaten run before a 2:0 defeat against Inter a fortnight ago. Paulo Vanoli's side have endured a dip in form in recent weeks, however, with only one win picked up in their last eight Serie A games. The home side picked up just one point from their four previous league encounters.
Low-scoring outcomes have been frequent for Il Toro this year. Torino have seen under 2.5 goals scored in each of their last nine matches, and in 14 of their last 15 games played at Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.
With Roma desperate for the points, and the hosts struggling form and fitness, I'm backing the outgoing Claudio Ranieri to secure one more win in the Giallorossi hotseat.
An away win is my first pick, in a game where I also expect no more than two goals scored.

Roma boss Ranieri has a fully fit squad available for his final fixture before retirement. Artem Dovbyk is available but unlikely to earn a recall to a likely unchanged XI this weekend.
