- Competition: EURO Women
- Date: Saturday, 12th July, 2025
- Kickoff: 20:00 UK / 21:00 CEST
- Venue: Letzigrund Stadion (Zürich)
On Saturday evening, two teams that have already secured the next phase of the EURO W, Sweden and Germany, will face off against each other at Letzigrund Stadion in Zürich.
Sweden W have been among the best teams in Europe and the World in Women's football. In the last Euro, they reached the Semi-Finals, where the hosts and the eventual champs, England, eliminated them. Before Euro, they did very well in the UEFA Nations League, winning their group with Italy, Denmark, and Wales and securing the Playoffs. When it comes to this year's EURO, the Swedes won two matches against Poland W and Denmark and had no real motive in this match.
Germany W, an eight-time EURO champ, failed to win the title in the past two tournaments. In the last EURO, they reached the Finals but lost to England. Coming to this EURO, Germany W did well, winning their UEFA Nations League Group 1 with Netherlands, Austria, and Scotland. Now, in EURO, just like their opponent, Germany W won both games against Denmark and Poland and will lack a real motive in this match.
Sweden W vs Germany W pick: BTTS - YES
Sweden W have been excellent thus far, winning both games in EURO and scoring four goals. Looking further back, they scored at least once in 12 of the last 13 matches - 92.3%.
Like Sweden W, Germany W won both games at the start of the EURO and scored four goals as well. They are a really good team and particularly excelled offensively, scoring a total of 43 goals in 13 matches - an incredible 3.3 goals per game. So, scoring a goal or two should be a lock.
Both teams have been excellent offensively, and since neither team has too much to gain from this game, we believe that defensive effort will not be as high. Considering all the above, both teams to score seems like the best option for this EURO W match.

Sweden W team news
After a 3:0 win against Poland W, coach Peter Gerhardsson spoke to the media. The coach was happy with the win and was especially satisfied with how they executed the plan to attack Poland on the wings. He also added that Kosovare Asllani received an undeserved yellow card and noted he needs one more for suspension. Therefore, we expect him to rest the 35-year-old captain.
