Strasbourg vs Reims prediction 03.03.2026 | Coupe de France

Strasbourg are playing an excellent season across competitions. The Blue and Whites eliminated Monaco in the previous round of the Cup, reached the 1/8 Finals of the Conference League as the best team in the competition, and are sitting in 8th place in Ligue 1, with a couple of points away from European spots. And looking at their remaining schedule, we would be amazed if they fail to secure Europe. Moreover, with PSG out of the Cup, this could be the perfect opportunity for the Blue and Whites to grab a trophy. 

After a 1:1 draw with Lens, coach Gary O'Neil spoke to the media. He said they had to fight hard to earn a point against a strong team like Lens. The coach added that they did well in the first half, but lost control just before halftime and then really struggled.

Reims suffered a pretty unexpected relegation from Ligue 1 last season, after seven consecutive seasons in the French top-flight. The Red and Whites are aiming for an instant return this year and are currently sitting in 3rd place with 42 points from 25 rounds - only three and four points away from the top two spots and direct promotion to Ligue 1. However, four draws in a row against mediocre competition definitely aren't the desired results, and we can safely say they are in a bit of a slump. In the Coupe de France, Reims have been lucky thus far, avoiding Ligue 1 teams. 

After a goalless draw with Montpellier, coach Karel Geraerts spoke to the media. The coach was frustrated by his team's lack of goals and the ongoing scoring problems. He noted they created good chances and should have scored early. Coach Geraerts described the situation as a difficult period for the team.
