Standard Liege come into Friday's Pro League contest with renewed vigour following an impressive 3:0 road victory against Genk. First-half goals from Ibe Hautekiet and Rafiki Saïd put the visitors in control before Adnane Abid secured the points with a third goal in the second period.

A mixed run of form since the turn of the year has seen Vincent Euvrard's side win two but lose three of six games. However, their only loss in their four most recent games came against a strong Club Brugge side. 

Inconsistent in home fixtures, Liege lost three successive league games at Maurice Dufrasne Stadium before picking up four points from their last two home fixtures. 

Head coach Euvrard is unable to call on five players this week. Casper Nielsen (elbow injury), Alexandro Calut (torn muscle bundle), Matthieu Epolo (ankle sprain), Teddy Teuma (torn thigh muscle) and Steeven Assengue (torn muscle bundle), are ruled out while Daan Dierckx is also tipped to miss out.

RAAL La Louviere make the trip to Liege after their relegation worries deepen after a disappointing 2:0 home reversal against Mechelen. 

Frédéric Taquin's side have struggled to find much form since the end of last year. RAAL lost six and won just one of 11 games played since the start of December. More recently, the visitors failed to win any of their last five Pro League fixtures, with just two points picked up in that period.

La Louviere sit 15th in the table, four points adrift of safety as the campaign enters its final stretch.

On the road, high-scoring outcomes have been frequent for the Pro League strugglers. All but one of their last seven away fixtures finished with over 2.5 goals scored. An average of over 2.5 goals were scored in their 13 Pro League road games this season.
