The top two teams in Group A of the UEFA Under-21 Nations League meet on Tuesday night, when Spain play Italy in Trnava.

Spain U21s won nine out of ten qualification matches for this tournament, and have maintained this level of performance in Slovakia. The Little Red Devils began their campaign against the host nation under a great deal of pressure. They won 3:2 thanks to a 90th minute goal from Terrera but were exceptional on Matchday 2, coming from a goal down to beat Romania 2:1.

Spain U21 have been heavily criticised for their defence in recent weeks, and they have not kept a clean sheet in their last six matches. However, the Little Red Devils are never afraid to attack. Carmine Nunziata's side scored two or more goals in each of their last four competitive matches, with three of those matches ending with five or more goals.

Another indication that there will be goals is that recent meetings between the two nations have been very entertaining. Seven of the last eight produced three or more goals, so I expect a similar outcome on Tuesday.
