Manchester City will be looking to pick up three points that will take them another step closer to Champions League qualification when they visit already relegated club Southampton on Saturday.
Last weekend was a great one for the Citizens, not only because they picked up three points against Wolves but also because they saw top five contenders Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest drop points. City have now taken charge of third place and with just three points separating Pep's men from second-placed Arsenal, a win on Saturday will pile the pressure on the Gunners who travel to Anfield on Sunday.
Southampton meanwhile were the first team to be relegated from the Premier League this season. The Saints boast just two wins from their 35 games so far, and are without a win in their last 11 league games. Ten of their last 12 games in all competitions ended in defeat, meaning head coach Simon Rusk will need a miracle for his side to beat City this weekend.
Southampton vs Manchester City Betting Tips: Both teams to score & Over 2.5 goals
The Saints have been the worst team in the English top flight this season, both offensively and defensively. They have conceded the most goals (82), eight more than any other side, and scored the fewest (25). However, boss Simon Rusk will be buoyed by the fact that six of their 25 goals this season have come in their last eight games.
The return of Joško Gvardiol to the heart of the defence has brought stability to Man City's backline and the Citizens have kept clean sheets in five of their last seven games, but their defensive record at St Mary's isn't great. Manchester City conceded a goal in four of their last five league visits to the ground and with Pep expected to reshuffle his XI, the Saints could find the back of the net this weekend.
- Best Tip: Over 2.5 goals

Southampton team news
Charlie Taylor (hip), Albert Grønbæ (tendon) and Gavin Bazunu (meniscus) are all out for Saints this weekend due to injury, while Juan Larios is a doubt due to fitness.
Despite being the worst performer in last weekend's defeat at Leicester City, former Arsenal man Aaron Ramsdale is expected to retain his place between the sticks, while Will Smallbone will be hoping for a place in the engine room.
