Arsenal’s got a lot going on, and balancing all these expectations can be tricky. That League Cup final loss to Manchester City, right before the break, might still sting a bit. It snapped a long 14 match unbeaten run, and, well, the first defeat after such a streak can mess with the team's vibe.

In the league, though, Mikel Arteta’s squad is in a strong position. With a nine-point cushion at the top, they’ve got some breathing room, even with City hot on their heels. Their away form’s been solid too, three wins in the last four games.

Several players returned early from international duty with knocks.  While most should recover, Mikel Merino and Eberechi Eze are expected to miss out.  Viktor Gyökeres comes in with confidence after scoring four times for Sweden, and that sharpness could matter.
