With the Premier League's end only a few weeks away, Smouha and El Gaish are two teams that still haven't secured a place in the strongest Egyptian league for the next season. Both teams are currently four points above the relegation zone and probably need a few good results to avoid falling into the lower level. 

Smouha are in terrible form. They have two draws and six losses in the last eight matches in all competitions. In the previous game, Smouha played 1-1 at home against El Ismaily. That was another good opportunity for Ahmed Abdelaziz's team, but their attack failed them again. Smouth have only four games left in the season, and they will not have matches that are much easier than the upcoming tie against El Gaish. 

El Gaish had been much better in the previous weeks than Smouha. Haitham Shaaban's team lost only one of the last five matches in all competitions. In the previous game, El Gaish played 0-0 on the road against ZED. The teams were pretty even in that match, and splitting points was the fairest outcome. El Gaish have one game more than Smouth until the end of the season, so they are in a slightly better position.

Smouha scored only two goals in the last five matches. On the other hand, El Gaish scored two goals in the previous four games. Both teams have problems with the attack, so we shouldn't expect more than two goals in the upcoming tie in Alexandria.
